Woodrite Revelator Wiring Harness

I am welcoming the Woodrite Revelator to the harness lineup. These are incredible guitars and can be taken to the next level with an Ampturco Guitar Werks harness. You can take the stock pickups to another level with my Custom Overspec CTS Potentiometers with an excellent smooth and gradual taper all done in 50’s wiring style layout for the best overall volume and tone control. The custom CTS potentiometers are all measured for their exact values before hand selecting where they will go in the circuit. I will use the higher valued pots usually 540k to 550k for the neck pickup and the lower values 510k-530k for the bridge pickup. The over spec values allow the pickups to perform at thier peak, allowing more overall frequencies to make it to output / your amplifier. Stock potentiometers are usually measured in at below 500k sometimes making the pickups sound dull and muddy. The neck pickup is paired up with a .015uf Centralab Bumlebee Oil Capacitor and the bridge pickup is paired with a .022uf Centralab Bumblbee Oil Capacitor. These two values give the best tone roll off for each pickup position. The harness is fitted with a Centralab 3 way angled Toggle Switch and a Switchcraft output jack. For all Woodrite guitars the stock hole size for the potentiometers will need to be slightly enlarged to accept the 3/8” threaded shaft found on the CTS potentiometers.
